About the evening
Our first rooftop of 2016 took place on the 20th floor of the Hyatt Herald Square. Guests smoked the La Hoja Edición Clásica with two American whiskeys: Breuckelen New York Wheat and Amador Ten Barrels.
The Edición Clásica builds on La Hoja’s Auténtico Maduro, with an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper, Dominican San Víctor filler and a heart of rare Piloto Cubano. Breuckelen’s 100% wheat whiskey let the oak lead, while Amador’s blend of straight malt and hop-flavored whiskey distilled from IPA was finished in Chardonnay barrels.
