Straight Up & Toasted at The Carnegie Club: Miles Davis Centennial

On Monday, October 19 at 8pm, Fine Tobacco Club returns to The Carnegie Club for a special edition of Straight Up & Toasted: an evening of live jazz, single malt scotch and fine cigars in honor of 100 years of Miles Davis. If you’ve been looking for a cigar event in NYC that’s worth clearing your calendar for, this is the one.

What to Expect

Straight Up & Toasted is our jazz series, and this month it has a reason to go big. We’re celebrating the Miles Davis Centennial with live jazz, two exceptional single malts, and a cigar made in partnership with the Miles Davis Estate. Michael Herklots, co-founder and blender of Ferio Tego, will be on hand, along with members of the Miles Davis family. It’s a Midtown cigar night with a room full of people who care about the details.

The Cigars & Pairings

The star of the night is the Ferio Tego Milestones, a limited-edition cigar created with the Miles Davis Estate as part of the official Miles Davis Centennial and blended by Michael Herklots. Every guest smokes the Milestones plus a second Ferio Tego cigar.

For the cigar and scotch pairing, we’re pouring two spectacularly complex single malts, chosen to stand up to the equally complex Milestones blend:

  • Glenfiddich & Aston Martin Formula One™ Team 16 Year Old Limited Edition Release No. 2
  • The Balvenie 12 Year Home Malted Barley

Tickets

Tickets are $60 online and $75 at the door. Each ticket includes:

  • One Ferio Tego Milestones cigar
  • One additional Ferio Tego cigar
  • A glass of Glenfiddich & Aston Martin Formula One™ Team 16 Year Old Limited Edition Release No. 2
  • A glass of The Balvenie 12 Year Home Malted Barley

At retail, that’s a $120+ evening, made possible by our sponsors. Food and additional drinks are available for purchase. Seating is limited and can’t be guaranteed, so arrive early. Get tickets on Eventbrite.
