On Thursday, October 13, 2016, Fine Tobacco Club hosted Straight Up & Toasted: Plasencia Alma Fuerte Launch at The Carnegie Club in Midtown.
About the evening
The Carnegie Club hosted the New York launch of the Plasencia family’s ultra-premium Alma Fuerte. It was paired with Glenfiddich 14 Year Bourbon Barrel Reserve and Glenfiddich 15 Year Solera, with live jazz.
The Plasencias have grown tobacco since 1865, from Cuba to Nicaragua and Honduras. The Glenfiddich 14 is finished in charred new American oak for a sweet, bourbon-like nose. The 15 Year Solera is married from sherry, bourbon and new oak casks.
