About the evening
This Straight Up & Toasted was the first U.S. event to feature the La Hoja Signature Series 1962. It was paired with Oban 14 Year and Oban Little Bay.
The 1962 is the crown jewel of La Hoja: a proprietary Dominican hybrid filler grown just for this blend, under a three-year-old Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. Oban 14 is a full, fruity Highland malt with heather and smoke. Little Bay, married in small ex-bourbon casks, brings stone fruit, spice and honey.
