On Saturday, May 14, 2022, Fine Tobacco Club hosted Cigar 101 at Merchants Cigar Bar on the Upper East Side.
About the evening
Cigar 101 returned for the first time since 2019 at the newly redesigned Merchants Cigar Bar, led by our tobacco expert David Alicea. His background runs from retail and education to rolling and blending.
Guests learned to cut, light and judge a cigar, pick out tasting notes and understand what makes different regions unique, smoking the Quesada Casa Magna Colorado (Cigar Aficionado’s #1 of 2009) and the Casa Magna Liga F (our #1 of 2021).
Part of our Cigar 101 series.
