About the evening
Rafael Nodal and the Montecristo team joined us at The Carnegie Club for the 95-rated Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua No. 2, Cigar Aficionado’s #2 cigar of 2021. It was paired with Old Forester 1910 and 1920 bourbons, to live jazz.
The No. 2 is an all-Nicaraguan powerhouse with finesse to match. We first tasted it in pre-release at our 2019 Cigar 201 with Nodal.
