On Wednesday, November 14, 2018, Fine Tobacco Club hosted Private Tasting with Davidoff Cigars and The Dalmore Single Malt Scotch at Davidoff Brookfield Place in Battery Park City.
About the evening
Matthias and Jordan Zimmerman, single malt specialist at Whyte & Mackay, led a guided tasting at Davidoff Brookfield Place. It paired the Davidoff Winston Churchill The Late Hour with four single malts from The Dalmore.
The Late Hour uses tobacco aged six months in Scotch whisky casks, a first, which gives the cigar a rich, whisky-touched complexity. The Dalmore’s whiskies reflect the decades of cask curation of Master Distiller Richard Paterson.
