The evening featured Amendola Cigars & Writers’ Tears Whiskey.
About the evening
At Merchants Cigar Bar, guests paired the new Amendola Signature Series Speciale with two award-winning Irish whiskeys from Writers’ Tears. The long ashes contest returned, with a bottle of Writers’ Tears for the winner.
The Speciale is made by A.J. Fernández at the San Lotano factory in Estelí. One of the Writers’ Tears pours appears in Ian Buxton’s “101 Whiskies to Try Before You Die.”
