About the evening
September’s Straight Up & Toasted paired the new Rock-A-Feller Dominican Blue with Glenmorangie Lasanta 12 Year and the brand-new Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban 14 Year.
The Dominican Blue, a collaboration between Kevin Schweitzer and Victor De La Cruz of Tabacalera L&V, layers an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Sumatran binder and Dominican fillers. The Quinta Ruban 14 is aged in bourbon casks, then finished in ruby port casks for velvety depth.
