On Wednesday, February 27, 2019, Fine Tobacco Club hosted Private Tasting with Davidoff Cigars and Hampden Estate Rum at Davidoff Brookfield Place in Battery Park City.
About the evening
At Davidoff Brookfield Place, guests tasted the Davidoff Winston Churchill Limited Edition 2019 with a flight of extremely rare Jamaican and Trinidadian rums from Hampden Estate and Caroni, plus a Hampden welcome cocktail. Matthias covered the cigar, and Hampden’s Jan Warren took a deep dive into the rums.
The 2019 Limited Edition robusto blends tobacco from the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Nicaragua. It’s bolder than the original Winston Churchill line, and only 3,500 boxes came to the U.S.
