On Wednesday, August 15, 2018, Fine Tobacco Club hosted Straight Up & Toasted at The Carnegie Club in Midtown.
The evening featured The Dalmore Scotch and Aging Room Cigars.
About the evening
Rafael Nodal, master blender and owner of Aging Room, joined us for the New York debut of the Aging Room Pura Cepa. It was paired with The Dalmore Cigar Malt Reserve and Port Wood Reserve, to live jazz.
Pura Cepa is a Nicaraguan puro with tobacco from Ometepe, Jalapa, Condega and Estelí. The Dalmore Cigar Malt, discontinued in 2009 to the dismay of cigar-smoking whisky fans, returned reworked with older whiskies for more richness and body.
