About the evening
April’s Straight Up & Toasted paired the Alec Bradley Post Embargo with Glenfiddich 14 Year Bourbon Barrel Reserve and Glenfiddich’s India Pale Ale Cask Finish.
Made at the Raíces Cubanas factory in Honduras and rated 92, the Post Embargo brought leather and briny olive before a sweet chocolate-raisin finish. The Glenfiddich 14 gives a single malt the sweet kick of Kentucky, finished in charred new American oak.
