About the evening
Cyril Camus, fifth-generation head of the House of CAMUS, joined us from France for this Straight Up & Toasted. Guests paired the Camacho Corojo Maduro with CAMUS Borderies VSOP and Borderies XO, with live jazz and passed bites.
The Corojo Maduro is a Honduran puro of Cuban-seed Corojo tobacco, deep, dark and full-bodied. The Borderies XO was rich and velvety, with pastry, cinnamon, dried fruit, old port and violet, and a hint of almond on the finish.
Part of our Straight Up & Toasted series.
